I’m a life-long advertising, media and marketing professional. In 1994 I joined Wired Magazine’s web-based companion, HotWired, and helped legitimize the internet as a mainstream advertising medium. In 2012, upon joining the Murrow Professional Advisory Board at Washington State University, I established Murrow Mentors which, since inception, has helped more than 200 seniors navigate the transition from college to professional employment.
Over the past many years I’ve mentored dozens of college seniors and recent graduates and shared with them the necessary skills to land great jobs after college. And in the Fall of 2019 I was able to expand my mentoring practice when Washington State University invited me to teach these skills to juniors and seniors from the Murrow College of Communication as part of the College’s Career Ready initiative.
Beginning in January 2020, as college seniors across the country enter the final stretch before graduation, I will share what I’ve learned to help the next generation successfully transition to the professional world.
